Hong Kong  $1000 Lunar Year Gold Coin -” The Year of the Monkey” 1980

This coin comes in its original Royal Mint box & insert which are both in excellent condition. The monkey depicted on the coin is an artist’s impression of a species of monkey commonly found in Hong Kong and China. The gold coin in this case is one of a limited issue of 13,000 struck by the British Royal Mint.
